Dark Matter
What if I told you that everything in this universe you see is just around 5% of all the matter in this universe. Yes, I am right all the visible matter is only 5 percent and the other 95 percent is the matter we can't see, scientists call it dark matter. Actually, we should call it an invisible matter, then it will resemble its property.
So, some the reader may raise questions that why we should agree at this. So had solid proof, if you calculate the angular velocity of the star orbiting to the Galactic center, you'll find that the gravitational force of galactic center is much low to keep the star in its orbit.so, the gravity of the dark matter provides the extra centripetal force to keep the star in their orbits. We cannot directly observe them because they do not emit, reflect, absorb light therefore, detecting dark matter is quite difficult.
Research shows that Dark Matter also gives a reason behind the vastness of supermassive black hole, the is that the first stars that formed are made up of dark matter. This matter gave high gravity to their collapsing black hole and Made them supermassive.
Devasting theory of dark matter:- Theory is that the sun goes up, and down in milky way disc as shown in fig 2
the way the dotted line shows dark matter
According to this, the sun goes through the layer of dark matter, which enters the solar system and causes mass extinction events like comet bombardment and volcano blast.
But according to one of the most famous physicist of this time Michio Kaku, once said that Dark matter is nothing but the ordinary matter from another universe as the light from that universe can it reach to this universe and vice versa, we can not see them, but as we know that gravity can travel through dimensions and even universe, therefore, we can detect its gravity.
